1. What this covers

This policy explains what information SixSevenBall collects when you use the coaching software, tournament and camp directories, public team pages, or coach certification course at sixsevenball.com, and how that information is used, shared, and protected.

2. Information we collect

  • Account info — name and email address when you sign up.
  • Team and roster data — team, player, schedule, play, practice-plan, and evaluation data a coach or parent enters to use the Service.
  • Payment info — subscription and purchase payments are processed by Stripe; we don't receive or store your full card number.
  • Public team page content — anything you choose to publish on a public team page (team name, schedule, roster, announcements) is, by design, publicly visible.
  • Directory submissions — details you submit when listing a tournament or camp, or through the contact form, which we route to our inbox by email to review and respond.
  • Usage analytics — aggregate, privacy-friendly page-visit analytics (via Vercel Analytics) to understand what's working on the site. This doesn't use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.

3. How we use it

To provide and operate the Service (store your team's data, run the play designer and practice planner, process payments, publish a team page you choose to publish); to respond to submissions and support requests; to send service-related emails (billing receipts, submission confirmations); and to understand overall usage so we can improve the product. We don't sell your personal information.

4. What's public vs. private

Most of what you enter — roster details, plays, practice plans, scouting reports, stats — is private to your account. Two things are intentionally public: tournament/camp directory listings (organizer, dates, location, registration link) and any team page you actively publish. Don't put anything in a public team page you don't want indexed by search engines, especially a minor player's personal contact information.

5. Third-party service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the Service: Stripe (payment processing), a hosted database provider (storing public team page data), an email API provider (routing submissions and notifications), and Vercel Analytics (aggregate site analytics) and Vercel (hosting). Each handles the data needed to perform its function and is bound by its own privacy terms.

6. Children's information

Player roster entries may include minors, entered by their coach or parent — not collected directly from a child. If you're a parent or guardian and want a minor's information removed or corrected, contact us using the email below and we'll act on it.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep account and team data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us — we'll confirm once it's done, aside from anything we're required to keep for legitimate business or legal reasons (like payment records).

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access controls on our database) to protect your data, but no system is completely secure — we can't guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to the Service.

9. Your choices and rights

You can review, correct, export, or delete your data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data protection law — reach out and we'll do our best to honor them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we do.
