They switch to a press. You already have the answer.

Questions

How do I quickly find my press-break play during a game?

Save your press-break counters in SixSevenBall's Game Situations library, tagged with the trigger (like "1-2-2 Press"). During the game, open the app, filter or search by that trigger, and your saved counter — with a court diagram if you drew one — comes up in seconds. It's built to be read at a glance from the sideline, not studied.

Can I draw a diagram for each situation?

Yes — each game situation can include a court diagram using the same drawing pad as SixSevenBall's Play Designer: drag players, draw cuts, screens, passes, and dribble paths. It's optional; many coaches just write short key points instead.

What's the difference between Game Situations and the Play Designer?

The Play Designer is where you build and save your full playbook. Game Situations is a much smaller, faster-access library specifically for "if I see X, run Y" — organized by trigger (a press, a zone, a shooter) so you can find the right answer in seconds mid-game, rather than browsing your whole playbook.

What is Game Day?

Game Day pulls up your scouting report for tonight's opponent — their strengths, weaknesses, and your game plan — and automatically suggests Game Situations that match what you've noted about them. If your scouting report mentions they run a press, the press-break situations you've saved surface automatically.

Does SixSevenBall tell me how to beat a 1-2-2 press?

No — SixSevenBall doesn't invent basketball strategy for you. It's a fast, organized place to save your own counters and pull them up instantly when you need them mid-game. You bring the basketball knowledge; the app makes sure you can find it in three seconds instead of thirty.

Is Game Situations included in the free plan?

Game Situations and Game Day are part of the Pro Coach plan, alongside Scouting Reports and live Game Stat Tracking — the tools built for running a competitive, in-season program.
