Church Basketball Practice Plans

Real basketball, a short devotion in the middle, prayer at pickup. Timed to the minute so any volunteer can run it.

A coach and team on the bench during a timeout
timed to the minute.

Why the devotion goes in the middle

At the start, kids are wound up; at the end, parents are waiting. In the middle — after warm-up and skill work, right before the competitive part of practice — players are tired enough to sit and still engaged enough to listen. It also lets you put the theme straight onto the court in the next drill.
