Basketball camps fall into a few distinct formats, and the labels get used loosely. A day camp runs a set number of hours over several consecutive days and is where most youth players start. A skills clinic is shorter and narrower — often a single session on one skill, sometimes weekly across a term. An overnight or residential camp houses players on site, usually at a college, and costs meaningfully more because room and board are included. Elite, exposure, or ID camps are evaluation events aimed at recruiting rather than development, and are typically invitation-only.

The single most useful question to ask an organizer is the coach-to-player ratio. A camp that puts 40 players on two courts with three coaches is supervised recreation, whatever the branding says. Ask how the day splits between instruction and live play, and whether players are grouped by age or by ability — grouping by ability is harder to run and much better for development.

Browse by state or province below to see what runs near you, including dates, cities, and pricing where the organizer publishes it. Coverage is deeper in some regions than others — if yours looks thin, the camp almost certainly exists and simply isn't listed yet. Adding one is free, and if you're the one running it, how to run a basketball camp covers the operational side.

Questions

Q1Is it free to list a camp in this directory?
Yes — listing a camp is completely free for camps, clinics, academies, clubs, and schools. Submit your camp and we'll review and publish it.
Q2Does SixSevenBall run or organize these camps?
No. SixSevenBall is a directory only — every camp listed here is organized and run independently by the school, academy, or organization named on its listing. Always confirm dates, cost, and registration details directly with the organizer before traveling or paying.
Q3How do I find a camp for a specific age group, gender, or state/province?
Use the filters at the top of this page — combine an age category, a gender division, and a state or province, and the list updates to match.
Q4How current is the information on each listing?
Every listing shows the date we last verified its details. Camp dates, pricing, and even availability (full versus open) can change quickly — each listing links directly to the organizer's own registration page so you can confirm current status before committing.
Q5What's the difference between this directory and SixSevenBall's camp management tools?
This page is a directory of camps to attend, run by outside organizations. If you're the one running a camp and want the daily schedule, registration, payment, and volunteer tools to run it, see SixSevenBall's camp management features instead.
Q6How do I find basketball camps near me?
Pick your state or province from the region list on this page — each one has its own page showing every camp we track there, the cities they run in, when they run, and pricing where the organizer publishes it. Coverage is deeper in some regions than others; if yours looks thin, the camp probably exists and just isn't listed yet, and organizers can add it free.
Q7How much do basketball camps cost?
Across the listings in this directory that publish a price, day camps and single-session clinics commonly land in the double digits to low hundreds, while multi-day and overnight camps run higher because housing and meals are bundled in. Prices vary far too much by region and format to quote one number — each region page shows the actual observed range for that state or province, drawn from its own listings.
Q8What age do basketball camps start at?
The youngest camps in this directory take players from around age 5–6, usually as half-day introductory or 'mini-ballers' sessions focused on movement and fun rather than competition. Coverage broadens through elementary and middle school, which is where most listings sit, and narrows again at the high school and elite levels, where camps tend to be invitation or evaluation based. Filter by age category above to see what's available for a specific group.
Q9What should I look for when choosing a basketball camp?
Coach-to-player ratio matters more than the name on the banner — a camp with 40 kids and three coaches will not develop anyone. Ask what a typical day looks like, how much of it is live play versus instruction, and whether players are grouped by age or by ability. For overnight camps, ask about supervision ratios after hours. Every listing here links to the organizer's own page so you can ask them directly.

This is a directory, not an official rulebook or booking system. SixSevenBall doesn't organize, verify, or process payments for any camp listed here. Confirm dates, cost, and current availability directly with each organizer before traveling or paying.
